She took her first crawls!

Don't get me wrong she's been a pro at crawling backwards for quite a while. Forwards we've been working on. She gets stretched out pretty far and then, when it would be time for her to move her knee forward, she just falls on her tummy. She hasn't minded that because she can sit her self up now from her tummy (which is really annoying when you are trying to put her to bed). But today for the first time I saw her move her legs forward and her arms! Like a couple times in the row. Then because our apartment is so small she reached her desitnation. These are some pics I caught right after her crawling but more crawling did not occur for the video camera.

Happy Moment

Elise has cute little folds because she's a little chubby. We've gone swimming a couple of times and she's got these little white lines in her skin from those folds. I love it. You can't see them in this picture but what's a blog without pictures of the little one anymore.

My sister, Mandi

These past few months have been awesome. My sister Mandi is working for Disneyland January-August of this year and every now and then grants us her presence on her days off. It's so much fun to see her when she comes up. I would have loved to do what she's doing and so hearing all her stories is a little like living vicariously for me. Last time she came up I caught this picture of her holding Elise right before we went swimming.

Toy Box Pic Part 2

Now instead of putting her in her toy box she can grab whatever she wants out.

I'm teaching her to pull herself up on her toy box instead of having to have my hands to pull herself up on. She's getting pretty stable on her legs. I showed Ryan this picture and he thought it was staged. She's pretty cute ain't she?

These are two pictures of her in front of her mess that she makes by the end of the day. Like I need any help in making messes she sure does take a few things and spread them out far and wide.

Pant legs are for one leg, mom!

We spent a week's vacation in Utah at the beginning of this month. We got this pic after an extrememly wiggly session of diaper changing because Elise is interested in everything! I got to hand it to her, with her vision being so good now EVERYTHING is interesting cuz she can see it all now. While we were there she had a hard time with everything from getting dressed, to eating, to falling asleep. Thus she ended up with a mermaid tail after this diaper change. We all survived the eleven hour trip though and miss being there already!
