Fun Art
While we were in downtown to go to the tar pit museum, we found these art installations at the park next door. How cool are these pictures? Ryan warned me to bring my nice camera. I'm a little sad I didn't except for when I think about how many times we left the stroller unattended at the museum.

200?!?
200th blog post, what can I possibly have that much to talk about? Oh yeah, Elise!
She's learning really quick, and I'm learning what I seem to do a lot.
For example, she says "He-you-go" to everything. I've noticed I say that to her for everything I give her. Food, Toys, Bink-a-bink, Shoes, Clothes, new Diapers. So, now she gives her stuffed animals food and says her "Here you go" phrase.
I say "So...um..." a lot while I'm thinking. She surprises me when she pulls that out. It seems completely random, but then I guess when I say it it's pretty random too.
I don't just sit and watch tv, I play with Elise, get on the computer and blog, facebook, look up recipes play games, edit pictures, look up scriptures and conference talks (occasionally I get ambitious and get out a craft, those are good days). I do dishes/laundry/de-clutter/make meals and listen to audio books. Apparently Elise has learned to multi task too, although the love of talking on the phone didn't come from me!
She talked to Aunt Courtney for SEVENTEEN minutes the other day on the phone. And then wanted me to call dad. Oh goodness.

Cute pictures
For mothers day we got to church early and I have pictures to prove it. Elise gave me two of the best presents ever. She apparently went to nursery for the first time and was loving it so much she never needed me. She was so good that a mom that had spent lots of time in there came in and told me that elise should teach the other kids how to go to nursery. Elise also started saying mom! She still calls me dad when she isn't thinking about it. We had the Heyborne's over for dinner. Yay! We hadn't seen them in way too long.

She now owns some of my makeup brushes because she LOVES playing with them. I gave her some of the ones I never really use and she is in heaven. Also we no longer get out of the bathroom without giving her some lotion. It's nice to have a girl that loves hygiene. I hear brushing teeth is a kin to teeth pulling for some parents.

Happy birthday to me!
I had such a great birthday this year! The night before we got to spend time with friends. That day went to breakfast with my dad and court. Then we went shopping where I got a $90 purse for $18! Then we got lunch and played games while Elise took a nap. We then ventured to take her to her first ever movie, Rio. She did really well for about an hour, thanks in large part to my dads popcorn. Then she put on a nice floor show with a little friend for anyone bored of the movie. Then I was taken to a delish and reasonably priced Chinese food reataurant at mandarin garden (no one seems to know about it yet so there is never a wait, you should check it out Utah people. Especially if you like Asian star because they stole their chef and are less expensive).

Unfortunately Ryan had to do some work that night but Leland and Linda baked me some German chocolate cake. So I can't complain. I had a wonderful day.

Easter Egg Hunts
Wow did Elise understand Easter egg hunting this year. We started out with a fun little hunt auntie Jetti surprised her with one morning. She had a blast.

Then we went Drapers Easter Egg Scramble, which was very aptly named. They had big circles on the ground a had thrown Easter eggs all over inside it. Then they blew a siren and the kids went inside the circle and scrambled to get eggs.

And Elmo was there! She was excited until we got her actually next to him...

And then the Easter bunny hid like twenty something eggs for elise to find Easter morning. She also had a little Elmo doll to find. She was so cute when she found him. She said "elmo!?" all shocked and didn't want to put him down.

Easter Pictures
Before it gets way too late for pictures of Easter (I know its already late to post pictures but am I WAY late?), I thought I would share the cuteness that was her, her handsome dad and the wreck that was me. My nice camera I was going to use to take pictures of the cuteness had a camera card go missing, darn the non universal-ness of camera cards. Why can't they just work? My whole preparation time got sucked up in trying to format a camera card that didn't want to. Pictures are thanks to Linda and Leland that took Elise out while I was occupied.

We're back!
We made it home, and I'm amazed to say that we made it home in two stops. Once in st. George for an hour for gas and dinner and again in primm to get Elise in jammies. I was worried about her not sleeping on the drive because she only slept forty five minutes between Murray and st. George but she slept all the way from primm to home. Yay!
