I can do that...

Well, so, here are the results of one of my "I can do that" episodes. Every time I see something, usually some sort of crafty or sewing thing, I think to myself I can make that. I don't know why I think I should. It doesn't necessarily need to be made by me. It probably would be better quality if I didn't do it. I really don't need more projects to work on.
However, last week I worked on making bows not just for my little one but for Trisha's as well. Gwen's birthday is this week (Yikes, she's already a year old!) Trish was saying how she was pretty sure that Gwen was the only girl that wasn't wearing one of those big headband things. We both agreed that we liked bows more than the huge flowers so I went shopping for some ribbon and tights after watching a couple clips on you tube on how to do it. It was pretty easy and the results were dang cute I think. But let's be honest, I'm not going to blog about things I've done that didn't work out so well.

Awesome job, Kimi! Before Kathryn was born, I made a simple headband out of tights and made different bows/flowers with velcro attachments so they were interchangeable. They didn't turn out as adorable as I thought, but they were good enough. We weren't big fans of the giant flower things, either. They are way cute on other babies, but just didn't seem right on mine.
