Eating Out In

I've been trying to find some good recipes that would replace some of our going out to eat. 1 because we don't have time when Elise's bedtime is 7:30 pm and B it saves us money and bonus it usually is healthier too. Here are a couple of my favorites.

Honey Glazed Chicken
Pizza
Sweet and Sour Chicken
Cafe Rio Pork

Are there recipes that you like?

Chase likes the Apricot Chicken at Olive Garden...Here's the at-home version that is super easy and yummy too:

6 chicken breasts (i do 4)
24 oz apricot preserves
1 pkt onion soup mix

Mix the onion pky in with preserves then put it on top of the chicken in slow cooker. Cook on LOW for 4-5 hours. DOne! Eat over rice. the sauce is really good. I usually steam broccoli with this one.
